Alright everyone ready for a drum role....
...HP has decided to no longer try to sell or spin off its PC business. The most powerful computer company has decided to keep their computer division, a very wise decision in my opinion. If you get tons of sales at what you do why try to get rid of it?
According to CNET, HP will sell Ultrabooks, which are basically HP's answer to the Macbook Air.
Also according to TIME, Sony might look at purchasing HP's WebOS to focus on Sony's entrance into the SmartPhone market. My opinion: Google Android. The problem with WebOS was that it did not have enough apps made. Look at Google Android and Apple iPhone phones, they have thousands of apps.
According to the LA Times, HP will continue to make the Touchpad, but no longer focus on WebOS, now it will use Windows 8.
Here is a good article about the late Steve Jobs and his sorrow for the entire HP situation:

Now in Apple related updates:
Remember how negative reviews Apple's Final Cut Pro X, and how it was so much worse then the last version. Well Apple is working on completely fixing that. The reviews for Final Cut Pro X have become more and more positive as Apple is bringing back many older features. Now people are still pretty upset because you cannot transfer projects from 7 to X, but atleast Apple is making steps in the right direction by putting 7 features on X and now you can buy 7 through the phone.
