Good morning folks, sorry for not posting in a few days.
Well tomorrow is the BIG day for Playstation video gamers, as well as PC gamers and XBOX 360 owners.
Here is why:
Playstation owners get the third installment of the Uncharted series. Nathan Drake will be searching for the lost city of Iram of the Pillars. And joining along: Victor Sullivan, Chloe Frazer, and Elena Fisher. So far the game as been met with very high scores from video game review sites. IGN gave the game a perfect 10/10. Also giving it a perfect score was Playstation Magazine UK.
For those who are not familiar with the Uncharted series: Nathan Drake is the main character, the game is a third-person action-adventure. A mix of Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, and Romancing the Stone. The first game goes through Latin America, while the second focuses on Tibet. Both games are very good and received above 9s for grades.
For those who are considering this game, but have not played the first games. You dont really need the other games, but it is recommended to understand part of the story line. This game series follows a movie like story line. If you do consider getting the first two games I would recommend getting the pack that includes both games. It is not a cheaply made pack either. You get both games in their own PS3 cases, the Second game is a Game of the Year Edition, and you get downloadable content. The downloadable content includes a PSP game, A bunch of Avatars, Two Themes: One Dynamic theme for the third game, and extra gameplay content. As well as a special golden gun pack. For only $40, it is a great deal to get two awesome games.
My favorite things about the series so far: Gameplay, Cut Scenes/Storyline, Characters, and Graphics. The gameplay is amazing and feels super reel, when you are walking in the snow it really feels like it. The storyline is really well done and the characters are complex and share well fit relationships. Not necessarily good relationships. The graphics are really good too. The Latin American jungles make you want to be in the jungle. The shooting in this game is really good. Trust me I think Naughty Dog could make an awesome war game with their shooting engine.
And if that is not enough Naughty Dog, the maker of the game, has already said there will be Uncharted 4.
Also announced has been Downloadable content for Uncharted. It is not official what he DLC wil be, but the rumored first pack is a retro skin pack. This will have clothing and stuff from the past Uncharted games.
Okay so the pricing break down:
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception $59.99
Collector's Edition $99.99 (Includes a Nathan Drake Uncharted 3 statue, the game, replica Sir Francis Drake ring, Nathan Drake's ring, a Collectable traveling chest, and a steel case.)
Finally there is the PS3/Uncharted 3 bundle. It includes a Playstation 3 with 320 GBs and the game for $299.99
Okay so what else: well here are some other really cool games coming out.
Also coming out tomorrow: Lord of the Rings: War in the North. It is based off of JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, and takes place away from the main story. The game is a role-playing game with co-op. The game is an open world game and you can explore the Shire and interact with characters from the books and movies. This is the first game in the Lord of the Rings series to have an M rating because of its such strong violence.
Other games include:
Assassin's Creed: Revelations
the new Legend of Zelda
the new Elder Scrolls
Not to mention all these games have to compete with Arkham City.

HP news and Apple updates
Alright everyone ready for a drum role....
...HP has decided to no longer try to sell or spin off its PC business. The most powerful computer company has decided to keep their computer division, a very wise decision in my opinion. If you get tons of sales at what you do why try to get rid of it?
According to CNET, HP will sell Ultrabooks, which are basically HP's answer to the Macbook Air.
Also according to TIME, Sony might look at purchasing HP's WebOS to focus on Sony's entrance into the SmartPhone market. My opinion: Google Android. The problem with WebOS was that it did not have enough apps made. Look at Google Android and Apple iPhone phones, they have thousands of apps.
According to the LA Times, HP will continue to make the Touchpad, but no longer focus on WebOS, now it will use Windows 8.
Here is a good article about the late Steve Jobs and his sorrow for the entire HP situation:

Now in Apple related updates:
Remember how negative reviews Apple's Final Cut Pro X, and how it was so much worse then the last version. Well Apple is working on completely fixing that. The reviews for Final Cut Pro X have become more and more positive as Apple is bringing back many older features. Now people are still pretty upset because you cannot transfer projects from 7 to X, but atleast Apple is making steps in the right direction by putting 7 features on X and now you can buy 7 through the phone.
